Culture of Growth

How do you build a healthy volunteer tech team?

They need…

1) theological food fed to them from the word of God

2) musical/technical training offered to them in accessible way

3) a leader who focus on building strengths in addition to conditioning already talent.

In “Worship Matters”, Bob Kauflin says that “we also serve our team by making sure they’re equipped in the skills they need. The goal is to create a culture of growth” (Page 234).

Developing a culture of growth in worship and production arts is a part of discipleship. Growing as a believer and growing in your artistic ability can go hand in hand. As you are developing your teams spiritually, you are fueling and encouraging them to grow physically. There are people in your circle right now that you can invest in, you don’t have to wait for the perfect volunteer to show up. Start building the team today. For leaders, this means starting with the people right in front of you. Right now. Let's go!
